CSR Contributions
- Enactment of Companies Act, 2013 by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India has introduced CSR as mandatory provision by imposing statutory obligation on Companies to take up projects towards social welfare activities.This CSR Initiatives enables nation-building by achieving sustainable development goals and public-private partnership in transforming India.
- CSR Projects with AFFDF are eligible for fulfilling the CSR obligation under section 135 of Companies Act, 2013 as it adheres to Item(vi) of Schedule VII of the Companies Act, 2013 (Measures for the benefit of Armed Forces Veterans war windows and their dependents).
- AFFDF is registered with the Office of the Registrar of the Companies, Ministry of Corporate Affairs as an entity to undertake CSR activities (CSR1 Registration No CSRXXXXX199).
- AFFDF CSR Conclave. It is an annual event aimed at garnering support from the Industry by contribution to the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund as well as exploring participation through CSR initiatives. It also aims at highlighting the utilization of the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund for providing financial assistance to the Veterans, Widows and their dependents through various welfare schemes. The event also gives an opportunity to felicitate and recognize major CSR partners of AFFDF.
