Citizens’ contributions to AFFDF are received throughout the year. Contributions to the Fund can also be sent through account payee cheque/demand draft payable to ”Armed Forces Flag Day Fund” or may be deposited directly into the following banks in favour of “ARMED FORCES FLAG DAY FUND” in account details mentioned against them:

Exemption from Income Tax Contributions to Armed Forces Flag Day Fund are exempted from Income Tax under section 80 G (5) (vi) of Income Tax Act 1961 vide Director of Income Tax (E) letter No. NQ.DIT (E) | 2010-11/DEL-AE22280-04012011/2186 dated 04 Jan 11 .The same has been provisionally extended upto AY 2026-27 under 03-clause (i), of the first provisio to clause (23c) of section 10 { for applicants covered under sub-clause (iv) of clause (23c) of section 10} vide DS DIT (CPC) Provisional Approval No AACTA0965GA20214 dated 31 May 2021
